SPEC OIL MINING SOLVENT 2325
DESCRIPTION
Spec Oil Mining Solvent 2325 is a wide cut mixture of
paraffin’s, cycloparaffins and aromatics that boils in between 220 ◦C and 250 ◦C.
As a consequence of its increased boiling range level Spec Oil Mining
Solvent 2325 can be considered as a high flash, slow evaporating type of
hydrocarbon solvent.
APPLICATION
Spec Oil Mining Solvent 2325 primary usage is as a
solvent in metallurgical applications such as the liquid/liquid extraction of
Copper, Uranium and other precious metals. It is also used as a fuel in the
manufacture of explosives for the mining industry and in printing inks. Spec Oil Mining Solvent 2325 exceeds the Chamber of Mines flash point requirements for
solvents, used underground.
STORAGE AND HANDELING
Provided proper storage and handling precautions are
taken we would expect Spec Oil Mining Solvent 2325 to be technically stable for at
least 12 months. For detailed advice on Storage and Handling please refer to
the Material Safety Data Sheet.
