DESCRIPTION

Spec Oil SHCT Grease 460 is superior performance grease is designed specifically for severe paper machine applications, including extreme temperature environments and exposure to different qualities of water. Spec Oil SHCT Grease 460 combine the unique features of a synthetic base fluid with those of a high quality lithium complex thickener.

Also:

  • The wax-free nature of the synthetic base fluid provides excellent low temperature pump ability and low starting and running torque compared to other non-synthetic oil products of the same viscosity.
  • The high viscosity index of the synthetic base fluid ensures excellent film protection at high temperatures.
  • The lithium complex thickener contributes excellent adhesion, structural stability and resistance to water.

These properties are complemented by a special additive system to provide:

  • rust and corrosion resistance,
  • wear protection,
  • thermal/oxidative resistance and
  • to enhance water resistance properties. 
Spec Oil SHCT Grease 460 is a NLGI grade 1.5 with base fluid of ISO VG 460.

Spec Oil SHCT Grease 460 is designed for use in the most critical rolling element bearing applications in paper machines. They provide outstanding protection against rust and typical acid and alkali water corrosion, making them ideal for the wet end of the paper machine. The low volatility and excellent oxidation stability of the PAO base stock ensures excellent service at high temperatures typical of dry end conditions.

APPLICATIONS
While Spec Oil SHCT Grease 460 is compatible with most mineral oil based products, admixture may detract from their performance. Consequently it is recommended that before changing a system to Spec Oil SHCT Grease 460, it should be thoroughly cleaned out to achieve the maximum performance benefits. If dismantling the system for cleaning before changeover isn't feasible, then thorough purging and increased re-lubrication intervals are strongly recommended.
 
Spec Oil SHCT Grease 460 is recommended for critical rolling element bearing applications in paper machines.

DESCRIPTION
Spec Oil Limited slip  Gear Oil is manufactured with high quality base oils and specifically selected additives and is recommended for use in limited slip differentials and includes friction modifiers to reduce chatter in limited slip differentials thus providing a smooth, noise free operation an offering extended life to these units. Limited Gear Oil finds application in limited slip hypoid differentials in rear wheel drive cars and light duty trucks and heavy-duty vehicles under all operating conditions. It may also be used in convential rear wheel drive differentials, construction machines or busses.

DESCRIPTION
SPEC OIL Hydraulic 68 is a high quality anti-wear regenerateS hydraulic fluid, designed for use in mobile and stationary high pressure hydraulic systems.

BENEFITS
·         Longer equipment life: The special anti-wear additive package reduces wear.
·         Reduced downtime: The rust and oxidation inhibitor system prevents the production of abrasive particles from rust formation and deposits, varnishes and sludges from oil breakdown, which can damage equipment surfaces and seals, and block filters prematurely.

DESCRIPTION
SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic is a DEXTRON lll type automatic transmission fluid intended to satisfy all DEXTRON lll, ll E and D requirements It helps provide a smooth shift and long life in both passenger car and heavy duty automatic transmissions. Also recommended for power steering systems where automatic transmission fluids are recommended.
SPEC OIL Max Synthetic is a fully synthetic automatic transmission fluid with outstanding oxidation and friction stability. It is dyed green/blue for easy identification.

APPLICATION
SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic has proved most suitable in severe service applications where high temperatures have reduced transmission life. SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic is recommended where either DEXTRON lll, ll E or ll D fluids are specified. SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic has been shown to reduce automatic transmission fluid temperatures by up to 20 C in severe duty applications.

  • Heavy duty automatic transmissions with integral retarders
  • Transmissions retarders
  • Transmissions of vehicles used for towing
  • Racing application
  • Long drain applications
  • Ford A4 LD transmissions in taxis and transit vans

Extended drain interval in heavy duty automatic transmissions:
  • Although SPEC OIL Max Synthetic is compatible with conventional mineral DEXTRON lll or ll fluids, its performance is maximised if it is not mixed with these other ATF’s.
  • Very successfully used in drag racing applications.

  • Also recommended for power steering systems and manual transmission applications where DEXTRON lll or ll fluids are specified.

Testing has been carried out in automatic transmissions of busses and passenger cars.
Therefore, this product is suitable for both types of automatic transmissions, in particular cold climates, to improve the shift ability or under hot/severe conditions for bus transmissions to extend the oil drain interval.
SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic is approved by Voith, Mercedes Benz and ZF for commercial vehicle applications.
