SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic is a DEXTRON lll type automatic transmission fluid intended to satisfy all DEXTRON lll, ll E and D requirements It helps provide a smooth shift and long life in both passenger car and heavy duty automatic transmissions. Also recommended for power steering systems where automatic transmission fluids are recommended.
SPEC OIL Max Synthetic is a fully synthetic automatic transmission fluid with outstanding oxidation and friction stability. It is dyed green/blue for easy identification.

SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic has proved most suitable in severe service applications where high temperatures have reduced transmission life. SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic is recommended where either DEXTRON lll, ll E or ll D fluids are specified. SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic has been shown to reduce automatic transmission fluid temperatures by up to 20 C in severe duty applications.

  • Long drain applications

Extended drain interval in heavy duty automatic transmissions:
  • Although SPEC OIL Max Synthetic is compatible with conventional mineral DEXTRON lll or ll fluids, its performance is maximised if it is not mixed with these other ATF’s.
  • Very successfully used in drag racing applications.

  • Also recommended for power steering systems and manual transmission applications where DEXTRON lll or ll fluids are specified.

Testing has been carried out in automatic transmissions of busses and passenger cars.
Therefore, this product is suitable for both types of automatic transmissions, in particular cold climates, to improve the shift ability or under hot/severe conditions for bus transmissions to extend the oil drain interval.
SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic is approved by Voith, Mercedes Benz and ZF for commercial vehicle applications.

SPEC OIL Max Synthetic shows outstanding friction durability compared to a wide range of mineral automatic transmission fluids and synthetic automatic transmission fluids.
This means the smooth shift characteristics of SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic are retained much longer than other fluids even under severe operating conditions.
SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic shows excellent cold flow performance, very good anti-wear performance, outstanding friction durability and excellent oxidation stability.

Compared to typical mineral DEXTRON lll type ATF’s SPEC OIL Z Max Synthetic offers the following advantages:

Global lubricant demand – including process oil and marine engine oil – is projected to grow about 1.5 percent per year to 42 million tons by 2019, up from just over 39 million tons in 2014, according to consultancy Kline & Co.

U.S. output of lubricant base oils rose 10 percent in the first six months of this year, versus the same period a year earlier, according to data released last week by the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Bulgarian lube maker Prista Oil is upgrading the blending technology at its Ruse lubricants blending plant in Bulgaria, and hopes to persuade others to do likewise.

U.S. quick lubes’ average yearly sales per store rose to $694,189 this year, up 1.6 percent from 2014, National Oil & Lube News reported.

Metalworking fluids maker Houghton International appointed Marcello Boldrini as its senior vice president and president of global metals, leading its specialty product lines for major metal industries.  Lambent Technologies – which manufactures and supplies oleochemical derivatives for lubricant and metalworking formulations – and Petroferm officially changed their names to Vantage Specialties Inc.

Dutch additive supplier BRB International is partnering with a Singapore engineering firm to build a viscosity index improver factory that will open next July.

Hi-Tech Lubricants Ltd., a Pakistani supplier of SK Lubricants’ Zic brand, is set to expand its share of the domestic market with a new blending plant and initial public offering.

Total Lubmarine, the marine lubricants arm of French energy giant Total, said its shipping activity in China’s Tianjin port has resumed following the area’s Aug. 12 explosion, yet is still subject to minor delays.

ExxonMobil and Tata Motors launched a range of co-branded lubricants offered for commercial vehicles.

Zhonghai Jinxiang Co. finished building a hydrotreater that will turn feedstock from a bitumen refinery into lubricating base oil. The facility, located in Luzhou city, Sichuan province, has capacity of 150,000 metric tons per year.  American Multi-Color Corp., which provides labeling for motor oil clients, has acquired Malaysia's Super Enterprise Holdings Bhd. (Super Label).
